Kakinoki James

This was the only full day of Orientation I attended. Bill & I woke up early so we would have enough time to take a shower & eat breakfast before the day’s activities started. We were all supposed to choose 4 seminars to attend, one of which would be just people from where we would be going. First period I went to one that was supposed to give me some ideas for teaching Elementary & Jr. High school kids. The second period I went to the Shimane meeting. The third period I went to one about living in the countryside, hosted by 2 people from Shimane. Turned out I was going to the 3^rd smallest location. I skipped the 4^th period, went to my room and started going through the mass of papers I had acquired the last 2 days.
